After many years working alongside children and families, our founder dreamed of creating a space for those whose needs had too often fallen between the cracks. A place where compassion and care sit at the centre of everything, offering families the chance to build the relationships they long for and to find peace and healing from the past.

That dream became The Remus Centre, opening the heart of Hinckley in January 2026 after a decade of vision and dedication. Each space has been thoughtfully designed with children and families in mind, our centre offers a warm, creative, and comfortable environment from the moment you arrive.
Our Child Therapy Room
Our Child Therapy Room is a space where play leads the way. Thoughtfully designed with children in mind, it offers a gentle, welcoming environment where feelings can be explored at a child’s own pace. With sandtrays, miniatures, crafts, music, Lego, train tracks, stories, and games, children have a rich variety of ways to express themselves—especially when words feel hard to find.Here, imagination becomes language. Play becomes communication. And every child is supported to discover, create, and make sense of their inner world in a space that feels safe, nurturing, and entirely their own.
Our Space for Grown-Ups
We know that behind every child is an adult who cares deeply for them. That’s why we’ve created a dedicated space just for you. Whether you’re seeking support for yourself or taking part in our therapeutic parenting sessions, this room offers a calm and nurturing environment designed with grown‑ups in mind.

With soft ambient lighting and soothing décor, it has a very different feel to our Child Therapy Room. Here, you can pause, breathe, reflect, and receive the support you need in a space that feels tranquil, comfortable, and entirely your own.

We offer complimentary refreshments and Wi‑Fi for everyone using the space. Our kitchenette and restroom ensure you have everything you need while you’re with us. All of our spaces are fully wheelchair‑friendly, providing easy access and comfort for every visitor.

We also have convenient on‑site car parking, and being right in the heart of town means you’re only a short stroll from local shops and cosy coffee spots, perfect for taking a moment for yourself while you wait.
