Welcome To Our Centre
After many years of working with children and families, our founder wanted to create a space for those who often felt overlooked or unsupported. A place where kindness comes first, where families can work on the relationships they hope for, and where healing from past experiences feels possible.
That idea slowly grew into The Remus Centre, which opened in the heart of Hinckley in January 2026 after years of planning and care. Every room has been designed with children and families in mind, creating a warm, creative, and comfortable space from the moment you arrive.
Our Child Therapy Room
Our Child Therapy Room is a space where play really does lead the way. It’s been created with children in mind, offering a gentle, welcoming environment where they can explore their feelings at their own pace.
With sandtrays, miniatures, crafts, music, Lego, train tracks, stories, and games, children have lots of different ways to express themselves — especially when talking feels tricky.
In this room, imagination becomes a kind of language. Play becomes a way to communicate. And every child is supported to explore, create, and make sense of their inner world in a space that feels safe, nurturing, and truly their own.
Our Space for Grown-Ups
We know that behind every child is an adult who cares deeply about them. That’s why we’ve created a calm, comfortable space just for you. Whether you’re here for your own support or taking part in therapeutic parenting sessions, this room is designed to help you feel settled and looked after.
With soft lighting and soothing décor, it has a very different feel from our Child Therapy Room. It’s a place to pause, breathe, reflect, and get the support you need in an environment that feels peaceful, welcoming, and truly your own.
Amenities
We offer complimentary refreshments and Wi‑Fi for everyone using the space. Our kitchenette and toilet ensure you have everything you need while you’re with us. All of our spaces are fully wheelchair‑friendly, providing easy access and comfort for every visitor.
We also have convenient on‑site car parking, and being right in the heart of town means you’re only a short stroll from local shops and cosy coffee spots, perfect for taking a moment for yourself while you wait.
